Hello:

After more than a year using its servers, I started having some problems to connect to some of my VPN provider (HideMyAss) locations, and getting a strange exit out of the OpenVPN client.

Their support has not been able to accept that the fault is on their servers (mainly those in Orlando), and I am not expert enough to detect the issue from the log.

IPv6 is disabled on the router as requested by HMA support.

Is anyone able to help me understand what might be going on? Please see attached log

Are you using/made any changes to a user connect scripts? updown.sh or openvpn-event or another one you would specify in the custom config section.

I too have been a HMA VPN user for a couple of years.

Just performed a few VPN Client2 connectivity tests (imported HMA supplied .opvpn configs):

Code:
Orlando LOCS5 failed (same error as you reported)

Orlando LOCS3 connected
Australia LOCS1 connected
Hong Kong LOCS1 connected

I must confess I can't recall experiencing any previous connection issues as seen for Orlando LOCS5, or if I did, I probably simply assumed that their node was temporarily busy/oversubscribed/offline for maintenance etc. and tried an alternate .opvn location file.

NOTE: My list of HMA .opvn files are dated October 2014.

So I too would suspect an issue with their server(s) given the evidence of my limited testing.

No. I use basically the standard HMA .ovpn files, just activating the "redirect traffic" and "start with WAN" options, which get turned off when I import a new one.

This works perfectly with almost every HMA server. But Orlando servers (which are the closest and fastest for me) have been giving me trouble for more than a month

Thanks. I will attempt again with LOC1S3, I do remeber than S2 and S5 reject my connection.
