Tonight my friend and I spent a couple hours trying to setup OpenVPN we did it using the Tomato openvpn guide as suggested by Merilin and we used the export a file in the router. Both results were different I actually saw his computer on my network when using the tomato guide.
What ends up happening is the openvpn client on his end says disconnected due to inactivity. Then the openvpn client freezes and he has to reboot his pc.
We had this working when we both had Netgear r7000s but have been unable to get it working since I upgraded.
FWIW I just updated to the latest merlin build.
Any tips or guides we can reference or is it just cause the firmware is not stable?
