Hi everyone!
New on this forum and this is my first post so bare with me if i miss some information. I'm wondering if there is anyone else that has noticed a problem with the parental control in RT-AC66U, but me?

No matter how i set it,to block internet, it's still possible for the specified machine to connect.

The reason i'm posting it here is that i have the latest version of Merlin installed.

Have you turned HW accelaration off, not compatible with parental control.
Which firmware version in use?

Hi,
The firmware is 3.0.0.4.374.43_0
I can see that HW Acceleration is enabled, but i am not able to find out where to turn it of..?

If issue still not resolve perhaps you could try downgrading to 374.42 build as I am running on that build flawlessly and see if that makes a difference compare to 374.43...

ASUS RT-AC66U F/W: 374.42

Check boxes

I just recently figured this out (DOH) but on the Parental Controls page there is a small check box next to each device you have added to the list. These check marks turn on or off the parental control time filter for the device so you can turn off the filter without having to delete it and then rebuild it later. So make sure they are checked for each device you want an active time filter schedule on!! :)
