Parental Controls Request

We already have the ability to limit the time of day for parental controls, which is great. Could we possibly have the option to determine a maximum amount in use until the device is cut off for the day? IE, 1.5 hours?

The only problem I can foresee is that it needs a way to begin the timer. You could do this by opening a web browser & the router would load a "start timer now" page. This would allow internet applications to work as well as most of those would not have a web browser. Just a thought.

That sounds like it might be complicated! I think squidguard can do this.

As an aside but still on parental controls what I would like is a way to set time of day for multiple devices in one go rather than every single device the kids use separately.

I think you'll find that all of the Ai Protection system is hardcoded by TrendMicro and Merlin can't do anything to that code.
