Pingman tools....pingplotter

Downloaded the new version and decided to give the udp test a go.
Its set to every 2.5 seconds.
It works well with no packet loss on the router.

Im running 380.59 alpha 2 on the AC88U.
Had no problems so wont change till 380.6 is up and running.

But when i change the send frequency on pingplotter to .5 seconds i get high packet loss on the router.

Any one have a clue as to why?
if game are using udp at a frequent rate surely this will cause an issue??

I can make a guess. ICMP (ping) is the Rodney Dangerfield of protocols and is typically handled as low priority (to the point that some routers won't even honor a ping). My guess is the router is seeing half second pings as a bit aggressive/greedy and is choosing to give them little to no priority. I'm betting your game will get more respect.
