planning to buy new router after ac66u

Im about upgrade my router RT-AC66U but i want to know which router best for running AsusWRT-Merlin firmware + Entware-ng/Debian? im thinking of buying RT-AC88U or Asus RT-AC3100? and im looking for more gig ram and fast can run more apps like usenet,torrent,sickbeard,etc and possible plex? (need very smooth)

Is RT-AC87U or RT-AC3200 good? but i dont get about tuxera? less CPU and run more app? true? but i know it has 256mb ram only?

If you want to run stuff from Debian, the extra RAM and CPU from the RT-AC88/3100/5300 would be worth it.

I will go for RT-AC88U... RT-AC5300 is very crazy pricey.
