Port Forwarding not working

I just got the Asus RT-A3100 and loaded the latest Version of Merlin and port forwarding is not working. I port the port for my DVR and I get nothing. Is there a issue with the latest version? I have a netgeat R7000 with the older Version of Merlin and it works fine.

the R7000 is not running merlin firmware its running a hacked build not offically supported.
and with the 3100 did you forward both in and out bound ports?
