Port forwarding over SSH in 378.56_2

Rob D

New Around Here
Hello all,

Over the weekend I upgraded to 378.56_2 from 378.55 on my RT-N66U. Prior to the upgrade SSH port forwarding was working fine, but I'm noticing that is no longer the case. Is anyone else running into this issue?

No changes happened to my client configuration. PuTTY connects fine, but I'm getting a bunch of forwarded connection refused by server errors.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

*Edit* Seems like it's just HTTPS connections that are failing...

There's been a few reports of port forwarding issues with the newer dropbear version used in 378.56. You will have to either revert back to 378.55, or wait for the next release (which is weeks away).

Thanks for the prompt response and your hard work!
