Hi,

When doing port forwarding on my Asus router I see that there is two boxes for port numbers to be entered.

Usually I would put the same port in each box.

Which box is used for the WAN side port, ie the actual port opened by the router?

Reason I ask is I have a couple of services that use the same port, the configuration options of these services don't allow me to change the service port.

Say for example I have two webservers on port 80.

I would set one up as port 80 in both boxes and then the other with port 80 in one box l, and then a different port in the other box, say port 48899 as an example.

So using a web browser and adding port 48899 at the end of the IP address would direct to port 80 on one of the servers.

Which box would I need to put the 48899 in to access the other server also running on port 80?
