New Around Here
Hi All,

I am looking for a new router to replace my dying DIR-825.
I read several articles here and I noticed in the Netgear Centria review that it used 16W and was noisy.

Is there a way to sort router by:
1) throughput
2) range
3) noise
4) power consumption?

I did not see that in the Wireless chart.

thanks much

We don't rate router noise. They generally don't have fans so don't make noise. The Centria is an exception.

We don't measure power consumption because routers, yes, even the latest draft 11ac models, draw less than 7W.

The default sort of the charts are always from highest throughput to lowest.

There is no sort for range because we don't measure it. We measure throughput at four points (described here) and each of these measurements is available by using the Performance Table (example) or Performance vs. Location (example) views.
