I got an AC66U router running Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.33 and ive got VPN PPTP enabled on it. I have a wifi-client connected to it locally running a DLNA/UPNP server. All lan-clients and wificlients discover this server perfect locally. But when I connect to the router from internet through VPN PPTP I cant discover this server.
The wifi-client running the dlnaserver has ip 192.168.1.58 and subnetmask 255.255.255.0. The vpn-clients get same iprange 192.168.1.xxx but different subnetmask 255.255.255.255. Dont know if this is the cause of the problem or how I fix. Can someone help? Do I need to create a static-route? If so, how should it look?

DLNA relies on broadcast, which won't work through a regular VPN tunnel.

You can try enabling the Broadcast option on the PPTP settings page, no guarantee that it will work however.
