I have ASUS router AX-88U connected to Gateway. One of the LAN ports is used to connect to an Access Point (extender). The router has been configured to prevent access to settings page through Wi-Fi. But, I can access it through Ethernet. The issue is that I can connect to the Wi-Fi from the Access Point and open the router settings page. Look at the image below from the Administration page. The Enable Web Access from WAN is set to "No". It works when connected to router. But not when connected to the access point. Anyone know how to disable this from the access point? Thanks in advance

The way you have it set up it can't be done. A router configured as an access point will use the same LAN subnet as the router. Thus, any client connected to the access point, either by WIFI or Ethernet, can see and connect to any other client on the same subnet.

One way to prevent clients from connecting to the router is to set up guest WIFI #1 and set the current AP as an AiMesh node. You will still have the main WIFI on that node as well.

Thanks for your reply. The AP is an extender. So, I don't think AiMesh node will work

By the way, this access from WAN setting has nothing to do with access from WLAN.

I would think a suitable workaround would be a good password for admin access.
