When I first installed Merlin, I was able to get my printer working. The system log shows....

Code:
May 20 18:30:29 kernel: drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04F9 pid 0x0044
May 20 18:30:29 kernel: drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: usblp0 Device ID string [81]='MFG:Brother;CMD:PJL,HBP;MDL:HL-2230 series;CLS:PRINTER;CID:Brother Laser Type1;'

You see, it's a Brother HL-2230 Laser printer connected to one of the USB ports. After some time to simmer, however, the printer has disappeared, and now the system log shows...

Code:
Dec 31 19:00:12 kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver usblp
Dec 31 19:00:12 kernel: drivers/usb/class/usblp.c: v0.13: USB Printer Device Class driver

Does anyone have any knowledge of how I can fix this? Last time, I belive I re-flashed the firmware and restored my config to fix it. Now, that doesn't work. Multiple reboots on the printer and the router (along with a firmware re-flash) has not fixed this. Lastly, I can plug the printer into my desktop directly and it prints right away.

Alright guys. I've solved the problem. It looks like turning it off, pulling the power plug, turning it on (to drain the power) and restarting the router seems to have fixed it. Printing is now working correctly.
