Problem with the HDD on AC68U router (unwanted label change and slow speed)

New Around Here
Hello guys. First of all sorry to ask a question without contributing to the forum. I'm fairly new in the networking domain. My problem is as follows.

I have an AC68U router and a 2TB WD USB 3.0 HDD. The label of the HDD is "HDD_AC68U". The problem is that if I remove the HDD (I always use safe eject) so I can use it in my PC, when I plug back the HDD it will mount as "HDD_AC68U(1)". If I remove it again it will mount as "HDD_AC68U(2)", "HDD_AC68U(3)" and so on. So my settings in XBMC and other programs will need an update. I also have to reinstall the "download tools" because of this unwanted name change. Is there something I could do?

Also, the USB speed of the attached HDD was fine until a day ago when suddenly it decided to work at about 8-10MB/sec maximum. I know that you guys need more details to diagnose this problem but I don't know what exactly to tell you. Please ask me and I will gladly provide the requested information.

Firmware:3.0.0.4.374.39 (Merlin build)

Thanks in advance.

PS: sorry for my English, it's not my native language.

In case somebody else is looking for the same problem, it seems like if you change the label the problem is gone.

But I don't understand why nobody replied to the thread. Did I do something wrong? I forgot to mention something? I'm asking because I have more questions and I can't find the answer in the threads here. Where should I look?

Thanks, guys!
