New Around Here
Hai,
I have some knowledge about modems and searched Google for my problems with my RT-AC68U.
My laptop will not connect to the SSID. But it does connect to the guest account.
The wan is living its own life. Sometimes it connects to my asus and sometimes not.
I have changed the SSID and the laptop connected straight away. And after some minutes, it lost the connection again.
I have set up the asus as a wireless router.
I am not sure if this is the correct set up.
The head connection comes in to the experia box. (main router). From there to the asus, which is only to be used as a wifi point and for wan connections.
So its only used for internet and my main router for tv/telephone.
I have also connected to my asus 3 AP's. which are also used as a switch.
I am running firmware: RT-AC68U_3.0.0.4_380_3264-g79f6bde
I could not use the Merlin 380.59.
Perhaps a dumb question, but mine fw ends with 4 numbers.
And the rest of the fw uses 2 number at the end. Does this mean that I have a fw which is too high for using the Merlin file?
I have add a log from my asus. Strange is that I get 2 dates, august and july in my log.
That is strange.
Also the same notifications in the log.
Hope you can help me.
Sorry for my english!]
regards
Dennis
