Procurve 1400-24G issues

Hi I just got my 24G about a week ago, and so far it works great....except for the fact that the internet keeps cutting out. I have my DSL modem plugged into it, and the time capsule plugs into the switch. It seems about every 2-4 hours the network activity ceases, and I lose internet. As soon as I walk into the media room and power cycle the switch, like magic it comes back to normal. Any suggestion? I dont want to keep worrying about when my connection will drop out?

Is your DSL "modem" also a router? If not, you need to connect the modem to a router and the switch to a port on the router's switch.
