Hello Merlin ,
I try to start using FTP server on my router.
Everything work well. But i have some thinks to improve FTP security.
By default ( when you turn ON any services FTP/SAMBA ) default user ( Admin ) has all permission to Write\Read files . It's correct from one point of view.
But when i start use FTP ( one service can share files to internet "from box" ),
I do not want to use my default user. You can say - " Create another account and use it!" , but anyway my main user account can be used for access to my files. If i set to Admin user All folders to "NO Access" anyway user pass and list my disks mount point ... sdd...sda ...
And intruder can note my user\pass ....
And i ask you to create some checkbox near Admin Account on FTP page for turned off using Admin username to enter on FTP. That's All!
Additionaly you can add checkbox to other users in list on FTP Setting Page for block users to access without delete ( if in feature this user name needed )
What you think about this ?
