With the new IFTTT Agent, QNAP users can orchestrate NAS-specific trigger-based actions around their QNAP product. The new IFTTT Agent requires a QNAP account and available for all QNAP NAS products using QTS v.4.2.2 or later.
The IFTTT (if this then that) Agent is used to build workflows with coordinated products such as QNAP NAS products and services, including social ones like Facebook, Skype, Twitter and Instagram, and cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon Cloud Drive, MS One Drive and Box. An example IFTTT workflow given in the announcement describes automatic downloading of tagged Facebook images to a QNAP NAS.
The QNAP IFTTT Agent is now downloadable from the QTS App Center. A list of currently available IFTTT triggers and actions can be found here.
