I thought I would check my bandwidth on my rt ac 88 u while streaming, trying to get a handle on my VPN problem, and I'm not quite sure what's normal or not.
When I stream say Netflix while using a smart DNS the bandwidth monitor will show, upload B/W between 0.20 and 0.50 download B/W between 6.0 and 16.0 with occasional spikes up to the 40s. Now when I stream using my VPN the upload will be around 16.00 but the download does not move at all, even though I can see it streaming eg Netflix on and playing a video.
Now is this normal or is it a bit doggy? Should there be no response in the bandwidth monitor while streaming via a VPN connection?
