Question about aimesh node status in android asus router app...

Is it normal for a AX55, as an Aimesh node, with latest beta 386, to show to be in 'repeater mode' in the android app?

And another question.. also in the app, while in the node's page, after hitting the wifi button, it doesn't show the 5gz radio? Just the 2.4.

AiMesh nodes are repeaters, just slightly 'smarter' ones.

Don't use an 'app' to manage your network. Use a computer with a trusted browser instead.

Agreed on using a browser primarily. Is it by design I can't browse to the node's GUI page?

Yes. A node is managed by the main router (and we're slowly getting more granular control over them with each AiMesh 2.0 release).
