Questions about packages

Hi,

Once again, I come back to you looking for help.

I tried to install Flexget on my router (RT-AC56U running the latest version). v2 of flexget uses a python library (lib2to3) to translate some python code (I think). A couple of months ago, the only way to use flexget would be to comment some lines here and there, and it would kind of work (there were some caveats, but its main functionalities were there). Some people asked about it on the flexget github issue tracker, which in turn pointed that it was a entware issue, as entware didn't had the right packages.

As of July 2016, pyton3 and python3-lib2to3 are available. I tried to install them thinking that that would end the issues, but flexget is still complaining that there is no lib2to3 installed. I tried to import the library, and it fails in python2 and works on python3, which kind of makes sense, as the package is named python3-lib2to3, but I think I am missing something. So my question is, do the additions of python3 and python3-lib2to3 to entware make any difference on flexget running or not? Have you managed to get it running?

I hope this question is not seen as off-topic, as it is not directly about Merlin's version of Asuswrt, but I think it is related to it and thought that you might be able to help me. It's just more a matter of curiosity and learning than a necessity, if I don't get it working it won't be a big thing, as I have an older version running.

Thanks!
