Questions on using NextDNS Installer

New user here. I just installed Asuswrt-Merlin and NextDNS on my router today.
After a couple of false starts, everything worked well.
I have two questions:

First question: I wasn't sure how to answer the questions: "Enable caching?" and "Enable instant refresh?".
So I said yes to both of them.
What are the correct answers?
Is this documented somewhere?

Second question: The "nextdns log" command returns "Error: exit status 1".
Am I doing something wrong?
The nextdns status returns "running" and I tested the blocking and it is working.

I also get the same result when running nextdns log while everything else works as expected. Not sure what's going on there.
