RC-87u firmware change "stupid" question

ok.. I've got an RC-87u that is working fine with 380.69_2. What would I be improving with flashing to
384.4_2? I'm not a tinkerer... so is the actual performance improved, or just the minutia that I don't want to even think about messing with.

Basically security and future support will be provided by the 384 code base.

Basically security and future support will be provided by the 384 code base.

The 380 firmware tree is a dead end - the last update will be .70 and nothing more - so no bug fixes, no security updates and no new features - better you move to the 384 tree to be save and up to date!

And: in my case the upgrade from 380.69 was a piece of cake - even without factory reset my two AC87U devices (see footer) run like a charm!
