Real World Observations to Ongoing BQ16 Pro Firmware Updates...

As noted from time/to/time, there are Firmware Updates to BQ16 Pro marked as "Release" in the "ASUSWRT - Official" Forum, such as the latest release "ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/10)"

The "release" posts are certainly helpful, but there appears to be more User activity/input focused on Wi-Fi 7 Routers within this forum as to what users are experiencing: ASUS BE Routers & Adapters (Wi-Fi 7)

That being said, I'm hoping this thread can become a place to post what Users are experiencing in the Real World after ongoing releases.

Kicking things off... the ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_36909 (2025/03/10) Release Notes State:

1. Enhanced input parameter handling techniques to improve data processing stability and system security.
2. Enhance system access control mechanisms.

To which I say: What (the hell) does that mean to me ? 🤔 It's like an AI Summary designed to fill a space, rather than a meaningful "fixed this; fixed that" summary.

So to anyone that has updated to the Latest Firmware, what have you observed in the Real World that is better/worse than the prior Firmware Version?

Doesn't seem to be BQ16 specific update. Just Asuswrt fixes released to multiple routers recently. When it happens to multiple models at once it's usually something security related. Asus won't tell what exactly.

Here is the release notes for a $70 router RT-AX1800S:

1. Fixed the UI issue in Chrome.
2. Fixed client binding issues in Mesh scenarios.
3. Enhanced input parameter handling techniques to improve data processing stability and system security.
4. Enhance system access control mechanisms.

Even some EoL models got similar description updates. I know from the long discussion thread BQ16 owners are waiting for magic fix of their systems, but this is not it. Don't expect any major user experience differences with this update.
