I saw a few posts saying that with hardware acceleration off, AC68U can get around 300Mbps; however, I have AC68U rev C1, CPU running at 1GHz, and my connection speed is 50-60Mbps. When I do speedtest, CPU usage is about 40-60% on single core, so if I use proportion, I should get around 200-250Mbps with both cores running at 100%. I have AiProtection and Adaptive QoS enabled. There might be some setting I can use to optimise my router throughput, but I do not need to. My suggestion would be to buy AC1900P, its CPU running at 1.4GHz, which is available only from BestBuy. Else, get AC68U revisions that is clocked at 1GHz as the price is the same. Can you guys give me an Asus router model that can handle Traffic Monitor etc... and not need hardware acceleration turned on to go 250Mb/s? Is there even such a beast? LOL
