Since I've upgraded to the RT-68R, it's causing to send out packets of some sort in turn waking up my android devices across the house. My dad's phone went from 100% to 0% in 7 hours he was asleep the other night.

I never had this issue before with my Linksys E2000. Is there a fix, or a tweak in the 'Professional' tab I can change so I can help prevent these wakelocks?

I have also disabled 5Ghz channel due to no devices currently using it so that's one component down

hmm I have the same router at home and a nexus 4 and dont have this issue. Are you using ipv6 on the router? Tried turning it off on the phone under APN? Try a different firmware like dd-wrt or tomato? Try turning on the 5ghz and using the phone on that band...

We have 13 Android devices from an old Dell Streak 7 running Froyo all the way to an S5. None are having this problem with the same router.

That's weird, not using IPv6. 5Ghz is only supported on a 2 devices so I just fully disabled it.

That's weird. I found this thread and I did disable Cloud Sync, Smart Sync, STP, modified Beacon and DTM interval.. It has gotten a bit better. May try out disabling UPnP if the wakelocks don't go down any further

Use BetterBatteryStats on your device and that will help figure it out.

There was an issue with earlier Android OS 2.3.x that would drain the battery to 0 in a short period of time.

If its newer OS 4.4.x, then turn off the device, take out the battery and put it back together.

If you running custom build OS, then talk to the builder.

But it sounds.like.your Android device is not.going.to sleep mode when not being used. I had this issue with Galaxy S2 and S4 when I was using custom firmware.

Need.more info.

Boot your Android device in to Recovery Mode, wipe cashe partion and wipe Davlick Cashe. This should resolve the issue.
