Reliable 3G dongles list?

I've found this list from Asus, but in a few threads people say that a mentioned dongle doesn't work.
In particulare I'd like to know if the Huawei E122 is supported by the latest firmwares (I'm on 374.40). How could I know?

The list you are using was dated March 2013 so it may be out of date.

Even then I'm not sure it is accurate as I have been using a ZTE MF96 with T-Mobil in the USA and it isn't on the list, but works fine.

If you can't find someone that has used the adapter you are interested in you may have to buy an adapter and then see if you can get it to work and if not return it and pay the restocking fee that many mobile operators seem to charge.

It says "Last updated: 2014/10/14", actually. Not that this guarantees anything.
What I meant is if I can check the PCI ID compatibility, given I have that ID for my internet key.

USB support should be greatly improved in 376_3602. I saw a lot of code changes related to USB support.

Do you have such plans to merge asus-merlin with the asus's stock 3706.3602?
I found that my e3276 LTE modem is working correctly 3706.3602 but could not manage to setup modem on the asus-merlin.

BTW. Do you have an idea how to run modem in NDIS mode on stock asus fw, becouse as far as I noticed it's working in RAS mode

I will eventually merge the code in, but I won't be making any release based on it, since it's too buggy (it's unusable for EU users).

@RMerlin: For now I'm using stock asus fw and waiting for merge 3g dongles fixes (from 3602) into your build

Now on stock I'm limited to 20mbit due to lack od NDIS support.
Is there any way to enable NDIS support in stock fw?

I have a question. I see on the official list I posted that the ZTE MF627 internet key is supported for certain taiwanese operators.
If I buy an H3G locked ZTE MF627 key, will it work? I would have thought yes, but I've read somewhere on google that this could be a problem.

I can confirm the Huawei E160G dongle works with Merlin 374.40 firmware.
