Curious, I didn't configure any remote access, mine is a default setup and all I did was setup my wifi and admin password. I used the Asus app for setup. Today when I am at office, I received an alert from the app saying new device connected (my wife laptop). But when I click on the alert, on the app it says "not connected".
So my question is, how did the router reach me (via mobile data) with the alert? Does this mean there is a backdoor opened? Is it safe or do I need to block something?
I'm a normal user. I do not need to VPN back home.
