Remotely Belkin N1 wireless

All setting are default and have full internet access. I'm trying to remote or log into my router from work or school using the WAN IP + the port # with out any success. the remote management has been enable to allow everyone, is there any other config that I should look at. My old router NetGear Range Max use to work without any problem it just that NG is broken and I replace it with Belkin.

Any help would be great.
