New Around Here
I got Verizon DSL six years ago; they gave me a Westell 327 which worked fine (2 computers, 2 Tivos). But my wife got an Ipad and it wouldn't connect. So I just bought an Asus N10: advantages are better security (WPA2 rather than WEP) and Ipad can connect; disadvantage is weaker signal (won't reach Tivo in bedroom).
1. Easiest solution is to send the Asus back to Newegg and get something with a stronger signal. Any recommendations?
2. Other solution is to buy powerline adapters and turn Westell into an access point in the bedroom. But it's $60 for the adapters, and I don't know if the old Westell can even be set up as an AP.
Thanks,
Dan
