Youtube has a video called build your own 10GbE switch. In that example they used Vyos.
IF you are a person who has tried to build your own switch like this I would love to hear how that went.

Seems reasonable - VyOS is pretty robust as a network operating system, and once one gets their head around it the primitives,...

It's showing its age, as many are moving more towards NFV/SDN with orchestration, but for 10Gbe, provided the right hardware, it's pretty good.
