Unlike other sites with animated ads in the right-hand side of the web page, this site, in the last week or two, has this unpleasant characteristic:

Firefox browser (latest).
2 or 3 ads on the right jumping and dancing, and ignored.
Browser "busy" icon keeps twirling for 10's of seconds after the left-side content displays.
Status note on bottom of FIreFox steps through 3, 4, 5 different ad sites, in sequence, spending seconds on each. The worst by far is long times spend pulling from exc-images.amazon.com

I know ads keep the doors open, but these things don't happen to my Firefox on other sites.

Is this an ongoing or occasional problem? From time to time, ad servers hang or are slow. But I've not seen ads "jumping and dancing".

I use FF 15 on Win 7 Pro and haven't seen the problem.

Switch browsers.

Chrome
Firefox
Opera
Safari

Chrome java scripts have been acting up. I use whatever works. IE is a fallback but I won't be using that one no matter what!

try using an Android tablet with all the ads!

Use adfree on Android Tablet but that tablet would need to be rooted so the app can tap into the hidden host file. I've viewed this forum on Toshiba Thrive 10.1-inch tablet that's not rooted but I was able to see this forum. Which OS do you have on there from Android? I am on ICS 4.0.4?

Okay I am typing this from one of my android tablets. This one does not have ad free on it. I do see a lot. More pop up ads blocking me from doing anything and trying to hit the tiny x is like hit or a miss. He does have app for this site. I do not use the app that runs his site app to view SNB on.

See flash base ads on the right side like already mention. On non-dual or non-quad core tablets might hang or lock-up or those with less ram of 256mb to 512mb than those with 1gb or 2gb of ram.

With a dual core it seems to me okay but the pop up still gets in the way when viewing the site.
