I'm trying to install a console app for Linux on my router but it requires root access. Through ssh it says sudo/su not found.
Any ideas on how I could do that?

Router: AX11000

The router isn't a Linux distro, it's an embedded device that uses a Linux kernel.

What are you trying to install?

a client that bypasses restrictions blocked and throttled resources (Censorship).
I meant, what exactly (i.e. the name of the software) are you trying to install? There might already be a version of it available in Entware (which is supported by Asuswrt-Merlin).

Can you provide a link to the code you're trying to run?

I found this but you would need to run the proxy server on a PC or recompile the source code for the router.

Yep that's it.
What's a good approach to run this?
1.on a router or a raspberrypi with adguard home?

I'm think of running it in transparent mode using root.
Not sure if it's possible though.

I very much doubt that you could get this to run on the router. If people are already using this on a Pi then that would be the best choice.
