My RT X86U has been hacked.

This is what the webpage shows when I go to the gui.

I know who did it - my GF told a friend who is some cybersecurity exppert about my unrAID server in her place, she gave him the IP and I donb't know what he did but the router needs resetting. He was telling her all kindso f stupid shirt like opening ports for Plex is gonn get het bank details stolen and other stupid crap.

Anyway, since I 'know' who it was, is there any way I can find evidence on the router and give it to the police to prosecute?

If I go straight to the IP I see this:

clicking that takes me to https://www.iis.net/?utm_medium=iis-deployment

This guy was filling my girls head with all shirt like he could be using it to crypto mine darknet illegal and other scary words.

Now it seems he's actually fracking hacked it.

I'm gonna do a hard reset and see what happens.

192.168.2.85 is not your typical IP for a router... that is a Windows server device running IIS. Your wording is very erratic and scrambled, so it's hard to follow. Sounds like you've got some patching to do... good luck with all that!

The problem is, she has given the hacker access.

The router might not be the only thing he hacked.

I would hack the hacker back the same way using the same girlfriend for assistance.

Did she?

The OP only mentioned that she gave the IP address.
If the guy recorded the conversation and she said something like "go ahead and try to hack" or something along those lines, that would be an invitation.

Sure. But I don’t read any of that in the OP’s post, so this is just speculation?

Sounds like the compromised girlfriend is the actual system vulnerability in all this...

Resolved ty
How did you resolve it? What steps did you take? Providing some feedback so that others may learn from this would be very helpful.

The others don't have the same girlfriend.
I just wanted to hear: "Dumped the girlfriend and got full access back to my AX-86U the very same day!"

😅

Maybe they do have the same girlfriend, and that was part of the problem. The solution was to find a new one.
