Router not responding to ping

I've turned on the option to respond to ping - a co-worker is going to run a pentest on my site/server later and said the scripts he has work better if my router will respond to ICMP on WAN. So, checked the box, applied, and still no response to ping.

Bug or design?

Thanks guys!

Probably means that your modem is also firewalling your router (assuming you were pinging the correct IP).

Yep pinging the WAN IP as reported by whatismyip.com - this is on Fios and have other friends whose connections do ping. Hrm, weird.
