Router only able to connect to the internet via a VPN

New Around Here
Long time lurker here.

I'm having an odd problem with my router. I'm only able to connect to the internet via a VPN. This goes for my desktop and mobile devices. It also includes if I'm wired directly to the router or using a wireless connection.

I connected my desktop directly to my modem and I'm able to connect just fine, so it's not my ISP. I upgraded from Merlin 62.1 to 63.2 in case that was the problem, but that didn't change anything.

I haven't changed any settings on the router since I flashed to 62.1 back in October, and everything had been working OK up until a few days ago. The fact I can connect using a VPN tells me that the router is connected, but it doesn't work for plain internet access. Everything works fine within the LAN.

Router info:
RT-AC68U
Merlin 63.2 (was using 62.1 when the problem started)
OpenVPN client is located on each device, not connecting through router client

Thanks!

Check your DNS settings.

That was the problem. Looks like the server I was using was taken down. Everything is working normally now. Thanks for the work you do.
