I want to connect to my VPN service via PPTP in order to stream Netflix. I need to do this to bypass Comcast's overloaded peering connection.
The problem I am having is that when I establish the VPN link, the default route is set to the ppp interface. I tried to delete that route, leaving the default route through my Comcast connection, and add specific routing entries for the Netflix servers. For some reason this seems to take down my whole connection.
Is there something I'm missing here?
