Ok so I have 2 RT-3100AC routers in 2 separate locations. One is running the OpenVPN server and the other is running a client. I am using this setup to be able to connect to devices on the servers subnet from the client side (server subnet is 192.168.1.x and client is 192.168.2.x) OpenVPN is setup as a TAP. The client connects to the server no issue. However when connecting to the server router from the client router I can not ping any devices on that subnet from any device connect to the client router. If I install an OpenVPN client on a device connected to the client router and connect to the server router I can then immediately ping devices on the severs subnet (from 192.168.2.x device I can ping 192.168.1.x device). Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
