This has happened twice now. After my four teens hammer the WiFi, the network kicks all connections off and nothing can connect to the SID.
The master node is an RT-AC5300, and it is VERY hot. The top of the unit is very hot (for a router), and I have to power off for several minutes to get everything working again.
I have three total nodes:
2x AC5300
1x AC3100
The AC3100 was also very warm. I did not check the other 5300 in the basement (it has few active connections).
I’ve used the same 5300 in plain router mode for a year without it over heating. Can’t be positive this is causing the WiFi issues, but sure seems likely.
