Everything that follows started with the 378.56 upgrade.

Panasonic HDTV; Panasonic BRD; Dish Hopper. Everything hot wired CAT 5e.
Problem:
Panasonic is a "smart" HDTV that has a bunch of native apps such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. They are all accessed through the Panasonic Server popular name "Viera Cast". TV and BRD are 5 years old and always worked ok.
After last 56U update, I can no longer access the Viera Cast Server through the TV. I have spent hours with Panasonic and all to no avail.
So, I installed an older (e2000) Linksys router, switched all the cables and the TV/Viera Cast sever connection works fine now and all apps open.
I then made direct connection to TV from the Comcast Arris modem, by passing the router and D link switch, and everything works fine and all the apps open.
To further confuse things, the Panasonic BRD which has many of the native apps, accesses the Panasonic Server just fine, and all the apps open.
It seems the problem is with the AC56U and the most recent Merlin firmware upgrade.
Any ideas what could be the problem?
