RT-AC66 Drop in D/L Speed - Merlin Firmware

My ISP plan speed is 200/10, and I typically get 240/12 as Comcast overprovisions by about 20% That was my speed a few weeks ago. I checked today, and I am getting about 160/12. If I take my router out of the loop and connect directly to my Comcast gateway (Cisco DPC-3939), I get my full speed. AFAIK, I didn't change any settings on the router. I tried going back to Merlin 380_64_1, as I know I had full speed then, but it made no difference.

The only thing that may be different is I started looking a traffic monitoring statistics for the various time periods in the drop-downs, but I don't see how that would affect the d/l speed. Nothing else has changed, I swear.

Any idea what to look at?

If you enabled 'per IP traffic monitoring', that will disable NAT Acceleration (also knows as HW Acceleration). In that case, the max speed achievable will be about 150-160 Mbps on the 66U.

Thanks. I did have that enabled, so I just now turned it off. My speed is a little better (175/12) on ipv4, but much lower (135/12) on ipv6. They are usually pretty close. Still not near the 240/12.

UPDATE: I just realized I had to manually re-enable NAT acceleration. That fixed it! Thanks John, you're a genius!
