RT-AC66U 2.4GHz Channels only limited selectable with Merlin 380.57

I´m using a RT-AC66U in Europe (Germany).
After the update to 380.57 the 2.4GHz Channels are locked to automatic (except 1 and 6). Selecting other channels results has no effect and the 2.4GHz shows automatic. The automatic mode also only uses 1 and 6.

It is possible to change the channel bandwith between 20 and 40 Mhz for Channel 1 and 6. If another Channel is selected all is set back to automatic.

I have reset the router to default settings and reconfigured it manually with not effect to the 2.4 GHz settings.

Well, Asus messed up with the Channel selection for EU - looks like they are limiting to much to close down the firmware to be FCC compliant.

Until Asus fixes the things (and Merlin pulls the corrected version) you can only go to the HGG fork to get all the allowed channels (and the allowed WLAN power) in your home country - as I do - see my signature!
