RT AC66U - 378.56_2 Network Map problem

New Around Here
Hi, I think I may have found a bug in how the network map represents.
The scenario is that I have the above set up as a vpn and also using TOR. I have android devices that connect via TAP to the VPN which use TOR on the mobile network. TOR uses the mac address to identify the device.
The connection to the VPN and TOR must be successful as the IP address reported by the android device is as you would expect from a TOR device. However the network map function on the router does not show any detail of the android client at all. When connected via wifi all seems ok. This problem only occurs when connecting via the mbile network.
Anyone else have this problem, and/or know a way of fixing it?

This problem only occurs when connecting via the mbile network.

The networkmap is only for devices that are on the LAN network. A client connected over VPN is still considered as being outside of the LAN.

OK. Thanks for the clarification, and apologies for incorrectly calling a bug.
Previously I can recall that I could see the incoming mobile network connection to the vpn via "wired" type client. However this doesnt always show up despite being connected to the TOR and also shows a previously unknown MAC address. I have the TOR server set to only allow named mac address clients to connect TOR to separate out TOR and non TOR traffic. It is a pain in the butt to have to keep identifying the new latest mac for the connection and add it to the TOR list of MACS. Is there any way around this
Appreciate your help, and thanks for the excellent firmware.
