RT-AC66U pops up as a Media Server + icon since 376.49_4. Can I disable that?

This has NEVER happened before, upgraded from previous Merlin firmware and many, many others beforehand. Just curious if I can deselect something in the GUI to stop it from popping up in the PS3's XMB? I use Universal Media Server and/or PS3 Media Server to stream video from my PC, throughout the house. Been doing this for about 10 years. Interesting that this is the first Merlin software to do this on me and it threw the family for a loop because I was away when they went to turn UMS on to watch a movie.

samething happen to me when use the previous version, but once i updated to the latest Asus version, it disappear now, still waiting for Merlin version.

I am misunderstanding you. Are you waiting for the Merlin version 376.49_4 to STOP showing RT-AC66CU in the XMB? If so, it used to NOT do that in previous Merlin firmware, correct?

Just disable the Media server under USB Applications -> Media Services.
