I have an RT-AC68R and I believe I am having problems with it. I have been noticing that I am unable to reach a bunch of different websites through it and I cannot figure out why. I even tried switching the DNS to google's DNS in order to see if that was the problem, but still couldn't get to the sites. For instance, when I try to go to http://southpark.cc.com/ I get a connection error and I also cannot ping that site through my ASUS router. I always get 100% packet loss.
However, if I turn Wi-Fi off on my phone and use my AT&T data I can get to that site with no problems at all.

Thanks for any help provided

Did you try to reboot it, to start? What firmware are you running?

If you flashed new firmware, did you do a full reset to factory defaults and then manually and minimally configure the router to secure it and connect to your ISP (and did not use a cfg backup file to restore the old settings with)?

I bought this router about four months ago and the first thing I did before anything else was upgrade the firmware to 3.0.0.4.378_4585-g44c234f. Then I configured the router to my liking. Everything was going fine until about two weeks go when I started noticing what I stated above.

Great idea, I should check the modem first to see if it causing my problems. Then focus my attention to the router next like stated. Thank you for the quick replies.

It seems like you did do a firmware upgrade but not a reset, if the modem itself is not an issue, that is the next thing I would do to troubleshoot for this issue.
