Rt-ac68r missing 5ghz signal

I've tried a few different firmware versions on here. John's fork, RMerlin's but I can't see the 5ghz broadcast.
I can set it up in the settings but I can't see it on my clients.
Please, don't tell me to pick a channel, etc. etc.
I've set it up just like I have my rt-ac68p, r7000 and r6300v2.
Is there a way to tell if the radio is bad?

Check System log, make sure it reports both eth1 and eth2 whe initializing the two radios early on at boot time.

Also try both low channels such as 36 and high channels such as 161, in case it's your clients having trouble with one of these two ranges.

I'll have to try this later today. I always use ch 161.
