My RT-AC68U came with Bootloader version 1.0.1.1
The new AC68U's are shipping with 1.0.1.6, and as I understand it increases the DDR clock from 533 to 666. What other changes were made in the intervening versions (1.0.1.2 through 1.0.1.5)?
cat /dev/mtd0ro | grep bl_version
bl_version=1.0.1.6
admin@RT-AC68U-65C8:/tmp/home/root# nvram get clkfreq
1000,800
admin@RT-AC68U-65C8:/tmp/home/root# cat /proc/cpuinfo

I'd like to add that my UK purchased RT-AC68U has boot loader of 1.0.1.8.
Hello!
yesterday I bought a new AC68U router.
Its bl is:
Code:cat /dev/mtd0ro | grep bl_version bl_version=1.0.1.6
So I set in nvram value 1000,800.
After some reboot now I have:
Code:admin@RT-AC68U-65C8:/tmp/home/root# nvram get clkfreq 1000,800 admin@RT-AC68U-65C8:/tmp/home/root# cat /proc/cpuinfo Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 0 (v7l) processor : 0 BogoMIPS : 1998.84 processor : 1 BogoMIPS : 1998.84 Features : swp half thumb fastmult edsp CPU implementer : 0x41 CPU architecture: 7 CPU variant : 0x3 CPU part : 0xc09 CPU revision : 0 Hardware : Northstar Prototype Revision : 0000 Serial : 0000000000000000 admin@RT-AC68U-65C8:/tmp/home/root#
Is my DDR running @800? Or I have to upgrade bootloader?
I have no problem for updating it, I have already downloaded my rt-ac68u_1.0.1.8_eu file version.. (I'm looking only for a guide for update it, if necessary)
Thanks!
The output shows your CPU is running at 1000. As far as I know, there is no command to directly measure the memory speed. But, the nvram command will show the correct memory speed (nvram get clkfreq). If the memory speed wasn't accepted, the nvram value will be reset to the actual speed.
