Hi,
So I let my friend have 1 of these and I have another AC68U. The plan is to setup open vpn between the two sites. But I'm not getting on at all well. We both have Draytek routers running well, so have the Asus plugged in to Lan side, set to static LAN IPs and then I logged in to his Draytek and setup a port forward rule just so I can configure his Asus (as open vpn client). It refuses to port forward and I get get gateway timeouts reported when I try http://his wan ip:8080 or https://his wan ip:8443. I've tried enabling WAN https etc, checked ports on Asus, locally 80 and 443 work for him but I can't configure it from here. Not a good start. I've also tried forwarding port 81 on his side to his Lan ip of the Asus to port 80. Whatever I do I just get gateway timeouts 504 errors from outside. Ive tried firewall enabled/disabled and all other NAT enabled/disabled. Not even got to attempting open vpn as yet!!
Thanks.
