RT-AC68U, really slow Wired speed on my Xbox One X (faster than Wi-Fi)

Hey guys. I've tried everything here and I can't seem to work out why my Wired speeds on my Xbox One X are slower than my Wireless speeds.

Router: RT-AC68U 384.4_2 Firmware (Factory reset after update)
My ISP speed: 100mbps Down / 30mbps Up
Xbox One X - NAT OPEN - No service problems

Xbox One X (Detailed Network Statistics result):
[WIRED] 90Mbps Down / 10.1Mbps Up - 0% Packet Loss - 1480 MTU - 47ms Ping - Cat6 Cable
[WIRELESS] 75Mbps Down/10.0Mbps Up - 0% Packet Loss - 1480 MTU - 51ms Ping - 5Ghz Channel
Using IPv4 for both, with IPv6 disabled on the router.

When downloading any game or app over Wired. Speeds vary drastically. Often from about 16-55mbps. Very, very rarely I will see speeds over 55mbps and when I do it's a max of 75mbps and only for about 1½ seconds before it drops by 50%. Going by the network test done via the Xbox I should be able to get up to 90mbps. My wired setup has the Xbox with a Static IP.

When downloading over Wifi on my 5Ghz network, speeds are more stable. Hovering around 55-75mbps. Rarely I will see up to 110mbps but it will drop to something like 60mbps just moments later. Still, these are speeds faster than what the network test shows, whereas on Wired, I get speeds half (or less) than what I am showed in the test.

I have QoS, and every other additional setting like protection, parental settings, traffic monitoring and USB stuff etc. set to OFF. There is also no VPN set up on the router either. I do have a PiHole set up on my network which I thought may be slowing down the transfer speed as it runs in a VM on my local home server, so I set the DNS on the Xbox One X to Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4. It hasn't made any noticeable difference.

One thing that stuck me as weird is that on the details page it says "Hardware Acceleration Disabled (user defined)" I couldn't find anywhere to change that, is that a problem? I don't remember setting that to disabled.

People with a faster connection than me have been able to get speeds at a stable 160-180mbps, and at times all the way up to 210mbps before hitting the internal 5400rpm I/O speed limit. I should be able to get far better than this, as I am not doing anything elsewhere on the network.

What could my problem be? I'm using a Cat6 cable that is only about 5M long. It's not crushed or damaged or anything. There should be less overhead and an overall better speed via Ethernet but Wireless seems to be doing better. Speeds on my laptop with an i7, SSD and Gigabit Ethernet show over 110mbps download speeds. The Xbox One X doesn't have bad hardware at all so I don't get why it's so slow.

Any help? I'm happy to provide any information requested of me.

EDIT: I did another Factory Reset because the first one didn't seem to wipe all the settings properly. I'm now not even able to get over 50mbps download on my Xbox using either Wired or Wireless. The speed varies and changes so quickly that it just doesn't make any sense.

Ermmhm.. I seem to have been able to fix it by changing the DNS from Google DNS to a DNS server in my own country. Seeing as Google DNS is based in the US, and because Microsoft uses CDN based off the DNS you use on your Xbox it could have been why I don't get more than 50mbps when using Google DNS (that's pretty standard for me downloading from US servers). There's no point me using my PiHole DNS as a lot of the settings mess with services the Xbox uses (I had a big problem when I got my Xbox with my PiHole blocking achievements being able to unlock). Additionally using my home PiHole on my Xbox as the DNS seemed to result in slower speeds too.

Now that I am using a fast DNS server in my home country I see speeds of about 60-80mbps, and slightly above. Usually not speeds of anything slower than 45mbps. For others that find this thread, it does take a little while for the speed to increase and stabalise and of course you can't be doing much else on the network. Still I had to factory reset twice and upgrade to the latest firmware. Keep QoS off as well as everything else.

I'll also end up modding my AC68U because my CPU temp is almost always around 90C (194F) and it's 4 years old now. Doubt it will make any difference but whatever.

As shown in the picture below, the speed can drop for a bit but you can also see that for quite a while it can be pretty fast. Not sure why it still sometimes seems to drop by 50% but these results are still more than double what I was getting before which is good enough for me.
