Rt-AC68U site history save location choices

Part of the Furniture
I have used my windows usb drive on my router for quite sometime. I decided I would throw the site history file on it. It works great how ever interferes with disk monitor somewhat. When I reboot the log shows that it cannot mount the .tar file on my usb drive. Which brings me to the question: should the site history file be located on my ext4 drive that I use for ab-solution (yes I have both plugged in). The windows drive is a 1t usb 3 pocket drive using the usb 3 port. The Linux ext4 drive is mounted to usb 2. Any thoughts people? I'm running 380.64 using that change file history location from ram NVram or custom. If I reselect the folder by using the browse option on the settings page the file in site history mounts successfully according to the logs. The site history then continues and doesn't throw any errors in the log. You just have to reselect the save location after a reboot. Thus my question should the file be kept on my ext4 drive.
